I had the pleasure to completely design and renovate
the cafe restaurant bar BLAU in the prestigious HOTEL GREULICH in Zurich.

Curating this space was about paying attention to every little detail. Starting with a new floor plan and restructuring the whole restaurant with the integration of a new bar counter, I also selected glasses, tableware and cutlery.
Working with bright ash wood, warm linoleum surfaces, high quality Kvadrat fabrics and well selected colours fading from soft rose to dark blue, the restaurant became bright and friendly with a big commitment to clear shapes, transparency and a warm atmosphere.

Beside the whole interior design, this project offered the opportunity to design and develop several made to measure pieces. Part of this project are a three meter long table in massive ash wood, some black mirrored reception desks, special lightings as well as a series of 80 wooden cutlery boxes.

To create something fresh and young that respects the architecture and integrates well into such a significant building is always a challenge that I love to tackle.
